Pastor Ruben & Cindy began with a vision to birth a multi-ethnic church in the city of Gardena. After much prayer and seeking, the Lord compelled them to begin this ministry that would transcend a community. They started in their living room with their two children Jacob and Nerissa, after 4 years of ministry (miraculous healings, powerful prayers, and life-changing relationships), Community Worship Center was born.

God birthed a vision in Pastor Ruben’s heart, to pioneer a move of God that would bring life into dead places. This vision would bring people together regardless of race, ethnicity, or economic status. It would cross racial lines, challenge our boundaries in Christ, and commission us to go after those who are far from God. Now, every Sunday, through passionate worship, powerful messages, and loving community hundreds of people are reached and lives are being changed weekly!
